What is Mylan 1560? What kind of medication is the lavender and white oblong capsule with "MYLAN 1560" written on its sides? (The lavender-colored half of the capsule is also sometimes described as light purple or smoky bluish gray.)

Mylan 1560 is extended-release Phenytoin (generic Dilantin) 100 mg. It is an anti-convulsant (anti-epileptic) used for seizure control. It works by slowing down impulses in the brain that cause seizures.
